A message from Matt and Tess
We have been together since 2016 and in that time we have shared many happy experiences (beautiful hikes, D&D adventures, giant sandwiches) and persevered through the tougher ones (long-distance, travel fiascos, a global pandemic). We feel so lucky to have found each other as life partners and even luckier to have such a supportive network of friends and family. We are looking forward to celebrating this milestone with you at our wedding ceremony and reception in June 2023! THE PROPOSAL STORY As a Christmas gift before she went to Ireland for a work placement, Tess gave Matt an "Adventure Book" photo album to compile their memories (yes, inspired by the movie Up). By their 5th anniversary weekend, the adventure book was almost full! Little did Tess know, Matt had purchased a second volume. Back in the log cabin after their anniversary dinner, Matt took out the photo album so they could reminisce. Then, he got down on one knee and asked her to start the next chapter of their adventure together by marrying him. She said yes and the rest is history!
